I am OBSESSED with this series. Like… this is the kind of story that makes you feel guilty for loving it, but you still press “next episode” again and again.
Genres & Tropes
This show is pure dark romance fantasy with a dangerous edge.
Genres:
- Dark Romance
- Erotic Drama
- Crime / Mafia
- Psychological Romance
Tropes:
- Age gap (and a BIG one)
- Best friend’s dad (yes… that one)
- Boss x employee
- Power imbalance / domination
- “Good girl” dynamic
- Forced proximity (living together)
- Dangerous man obsession
- Innocent girl in a corrupt world
This is not soft romance. This is intense, messy, and morally questionable.

Short Plot Summary
Caterina is desperate. No job, sick father, no money. She ends up working in a strip club just to survive — and everything goes wrong in one night.
She gets pulled into a VIP room… and comes face to face with Gianni Rosetti — her best friend’s father. A powerful, dangerous man who simply says: “She’ll do.”
From that moment, her life is no longer hers.
He pulls her into his world — gives her a job, a house, protection… and control.
And the worst part?
She starts to want him too.

Characters

Caterina
She is not a weak girl, but she is trapped.
She is proud, emotional, and trying to survive. She fights Gianni, argues with him, resists him… but her body betrays her feelings.
I like her, but sometimes I wanted to scream: girl, run!
But also… I understand why she stays.
Actress – Claire Dall.

Gianni Rosetti
This man is… dangerous. Cold. Controlling. Powerful. He is the definition of:“I always get what I want”
He treats everything like it belongs to him — including Caterina.
But at the same time… he protects her, helps her father, gives her opportunities.
He is toxic. He is manipulative.
And somehow… insanely attractive.
I hate that I love him.
Actor – Heath Cates.

Daniel (her father)
This part hurts. He is sick, but still working as a police officer.
And the worst twist? He is investigating the same world Gianni controls.
The tension here is CRAZY. It feels like a bomb waiting to explode.
Actor – Jacub Kwasniewicz.

Henry (the ex)
Trash. Honestly.
Cheats, manipulates, then comes back begging. Classic useless ex energy.
Actor – Krzysztof Zarzycki.

Bella (best friend / Gianni’s daughter)
She is the emotional danger.
Because she trusts both of them… and has no idea what’s happening behind her back.
This makes everything feel even more wrong.
Actress – Aleksandra Sochacka.
Personal Opinion
Okay… I need to be honest.
This series is:
- toxic
- unrealistic
- problematic
BUT.
It is also:
- addictive
- intense
- emotionally charged
The chemistry is insane. The tension? Unbearable in a good way.
I love how the story mixes:
- power
- danger
- desire
But sometimes it goes too far. The control, the manipulation, the lack of real choice for Caterina — it can feel uncomfortable. Not in a “fun drama” way, but in a “this is actually messed up” way.
Still… I couldn’t stop watching.

Conclusion
“Call Me Gianni, Babygirl” is not a healthy love story.
It is a dangerous fantasy about power, obsession, and forbidden desire.
If you want:
- soft romance → this is NOT for you
- emotional safety → absolutely not
- intense chemistry and dark tension → you will LOVE this
For me?
I was shocked. I was frustrated.
I was completely hooked.
And yes… I will keep watching.
