His Dark Kiss

As a romance fan, His Dark Kiss is exactly the kind of story I secretly live for — dark, dangerous, obsessive, and full of tension. It mixes vampire fantasy with intense romance and power dynamics. It’s messy, dramatic, and honestly… very addictive.

Short Plot Summary

Alice catches her boyfriend cheating and goes to work at a nightclub — where she accidentally discovers a powerful vampire named Byron feeding on a woman. He becomes obsessed with her, but something strange happens: he can’t bite or control her like other humans.

Soon they discover they share a forbidden soul bond — and the vampire council will kill them both if they find out. As danger closes in, Alice and Byron are pulled into a dark, intense romance full of desire, power games, and deadly consequences.

Main Characters

Alice
Sweet but feisty heroine. She’s scared of Byron but also drawn to him. I love that she argues back and refuses to be controlled. She’s not weak — she challenges him constantly. Her resistance makes the chemistry stronger.

Actress – Valerie LeBlanc.

Byron
Dangerous vampire billionaire with obsessive energy. He’s controlling, arrogant, and dark… but also protective and secretly soft. Classic red flag romance hero. He wants her as his blood donor, then as his soulmate, then as his forever.

Actor – Trevor Lyons.

Ashen
The villain vampire. Manipulative, cruel, and jealous. He pushes the stakes higher and forces Byron to choose between love and survival.

My Personal Opinion (Romance Fan Mode)

I was hooked immediately. The dark tension is so good. The first scene where Byron pins Alice to the wall after she discovers he’s a vampire? Instant chemistry.

I love:

  • the obsession
  • the danger
  • the soul bond concept
  • the push-pull between fear and attraction

But honestly… Byron is VERY toxic. He kidnaps her, manipulates her life, and literally traps her in his penthouse. Some moments are uncomfortable, and the power imbalance is huge.

Still… the chemistry is insane. And the emotional shift from enemies → reluctant allies → lovers works really well.

It’s the kind of romance where you know it’s chaotic… but you still want them together.

Conclusion

His Dark Kiss is a dramatic, seductive vampire romance with high tension and forbidden love. It’s dark, obsessive, and full of dangerous chemistry.

If you like:

  • possessive vampire heroes
  • fated mates
  • enemies-to-lovers
  • spicy dark romance
  • forbidden supernatural love

…this series is absolutely worth watching.

It’s messy. It’s toxic. It’s romantic.
And honestly? I couldn’t stop watching.
